Story
Vets in the Community is a student-led project at the University of Nottingham, providing free veterinary care to the pets of homeless and vulnerably-housed people in Nottingham.
We are very excited that a team of Vet Soc members are running the Robin Hood Half and Full Marathon to raise money for our project! We hope you will join us in supporting them, and hopefully sponsor their efforts taking on this challenge!
We run clinics twice a month, in which vet students, under supervision,
provide important treatments such as vaccinations, microchipping, flea/worm
treatment as well as treating other ailments such as ear and eye infections. We
are always grateful for any donations which help us to continue providing this
valuable service - donations can help fund more vaccinations, treatments, and
other items needed at the clinic to keep us going.
