Story
A group of 30 staff and volunteers from Vetlife, BVA, VDS and Summit are holding a Vetlife Day and climbing the O2 Stadium in London. The team will scale the stadium roof to help raise funds for the charity.
The Vetlife Day campaign was launched in 2022, with support from Virbac, to encourage the veterinary community to get together, have fun, and raise money for Vetlife.
Throughout recent difficult years Vetlife has continued to provide independent and confidential support to those seeking our assistance. During 2021 Vetlife Helpline responded to a total of 3,390 contacts, equivalent to an average of 65 contacts per week, whilst our Vetlife Health Support service funded 187 referrals for mental health support– up by 27% from 2019. For those in severe difficulties, Vetlife Financial Support provided almost £100,000 in financial aid.
Vetlife's three important services cannot be maintained without generosity such as yours, enabling us to make a real difference to the lives of those in the veterinary community who may find themselves in need of support.
Please donate today – help Vetlife continue to be there for all in veterinary community who need us.
We’re delighted that the Veterinary Defence Society has kindly agreed to match donations raised by this fundraiser up to the value of £2000. A huge thank you to VDS for it's generosity.
