I've recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and have been receiving treatment at the RUH hospital in Bath. I've had a lumpectomy and lymph node biopsy which has shown that the cancer cells have got into the lymph and so now I'll be having chemotherapy, more surgery, radiotherapy and hormone treatment. I'm determined to face this head on and whatever positives I can capture out of this I'll be grabbing with both hands. There are many others facing the same as me and together we can make a difference for future generations. I'm extremely appreciative for the care and treatment I've been receiving at the RUH and I'm lucky this was caught in good time and is treatable. I'm also very thankful to all my family and friends for the support and love that is being shown. I am wanting to do something to give back what I can and have decided to do a headshave at Part 2 in Frome on Friday 22nd May @ 4.30pm , Barbara who owns Part 2 has very kindly offered her services free of charge. All monies raised will help go towards the "RUH Space for Cancer Care campaign". I will also be organising a raffle on the same day and have very kindly been offered prizes by local small businesses.  If you would like to purchase raffle tickets please let me know.
