Women are still getting breast cancer and dying from it. That’s why Breast Cancer Campaign and Breakthrough Breast Cancer have joined forces to become the UK’s largest dedicated breast cancer research charity. And with your help, together we can put an end to breast cancer, once and for all.

Story

On Saturday 21st June 2014 (The longest day) a team of 14 cyclists friends and 4 support crew lead by our good friend Neil Skinner will go Coast-to-Coast, or Sea-to-Sea and follow Hadrian's wall in 1 day to raise money for The Breast CancerCampaign. Approx 90miles.

Why are we doing this.... ?

In Nov 2011 Neil's mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancerand after 2 operations and a lot of convalescence during 2012 and 2013 she has pulled through incredibly well. She now has the all clear and is getting on with life but the shadow of it ever returning is always there. The reason she is still here is because of the research and treatments developed over the years.

We all know people who have suffered from different forms of cancer and women who have suffered from breast cancer, in particular.

Our nearest and dearest mean the world to us and the scary statistic is that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed in their lifetime.

Please give generously.

Many thanks

Vaughan Jones
