Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Bowel cancer appears to be on the increase and in my experience is affecting more younger people. Two of my friends suffered from this cancer, but thankfully appear to have beaten it. My husband's father died many years ago from bowel cancer at the age of 49, and just recently Paul, a close friend of my stepchildren, died at the very young age of 30. He was married shortly after being diagnosed with a very poor prognosis, and because of his treatment was able to live a reasonably normal life for 12 months, which was much longer than initially expected.
Money is desperately needed to help find a permanent cure for bowel cancer and provide people like Paul with an even better chance of survival.
