We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am celebrating my 70th year by doing a series of running events, one a month for a year.  The races are a mixture of 10K and half marathons plus one full marathon (Edinburgh).  The first one was Windsor Half Marathon in September.  Since then I have completed 7 more events, the last one being the Edinburgh Marathon (my cover picture shows me just approaching the finish line on 26 May).  So still to come are the Frampton 10 K on 1 July, the Two Tunnels Half Marathon in Bath on 14 July, the Dublin Rock'n'Roll Half Marathon on 11 August and the Cotswold Trail Half Marathon on 1 September.  I want to raise money for a charity that I care for, whilst having a lot of fun.  I decided to support Alzheimer's Research because of the number of people that I know - including my mother - who have been affected by some form of dementia in the final years of their lives.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
