Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Lee Mortimer, Lisa Newbold and Carol Houston took part in a 10k Towpath and Trail Race on 22nd May 2011, raising funds in aid of Rutland House School for Parents in the process.  It was a very warm and windy day, not ideal running conditions, but the three of us completed the race without requiring medical assistance at the end, always a bonus!  Official finish times Lee - 0:58:29, Carol - 1:04:00, Lisa - 1:08:56, but I reckon you could deduct at least 1 minute from these times for the queues to get over the stiles!  Please see attached photos to prove we took part!  We would like to thank you all for your support, all donations are very much appreciated.  Any further donations may be made online or offline and gratefully received! We will update the total amount raised in due course.

Rutland House School for Parents helps pre-school aged children with cerebral palsy or Down's syndrome to be more independent and confident individuals by encouraging and developing their mobility and communication skills, and we help parents learn how to support their child.
