Story
I will be abseiling the Orbit tower in the Olympic Park on Sunday 22nd March to raise money for the Albert Kennedy Trust.
As you may already know, the Albert Kennedy Trust do really important work in supporting homeless lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth. Homelessness does affect LGBT youth at a greater rate than non-LGBT youth, with an estimated 1 in 4 homeless youth identifying as LGB or T. It's vital that organisations like the AKT exist and supported. For information on AKT's work, please visit http://www.akt.org.uk/2/spg330/albert_kennedy_trust_-_helping_young_lgbt_people/about_us.aspx.
