Story

I thought I'd lost my chance to run in this year's London Marathon after being unsuccessful in the ballots but Breast Cancer Now offered me a late place for the Marathon on 23rd April 2023.

Some of you may not be aware but I unfortunately lost my beautiful mother to her battle with Breast Cancer in December. I feel very strongly about this cause and finding a cure for this illness after having witnessing Mum and her cancer journey as nobody should suffer the way she did and families shouldn't be put in situations where they feel so helpless, so I'm doing something I feel is relatively easy when you compare it to Mum's battle.

By doing this, I'm hoping to raise not just money but importantly awareness for Breast Cancer. The money we raise will help put towards the funding of over 80 cutting-edge projects worth just over £29 million to discover how we can prevent breast cancer, save lives, and help people to live well with and beyond the disease courtesy of Breast Cancer Now.

Even the tiniest of donations will make gigantic differences so please take a moment to donate and I'll do the rest of the work on 23rd April.

Thank you so much :)
