Twin Petes Investing is a collaboration between private investors, bloggers and Twitter characters Peter Higgins @conkers3 and Pete 'Wheelie' @WheelieDealer:

Both are full-time investors with several decades of experience in buying and selling shares, who are enthusiastic about the day-to-day rigors of the ever-demanding quest to make large and consistent financial returns, from the ever-evolving markets.

Pete @Wheeliedealer is based in Windsor, Berkshire, and Peter @Conkers3 is based in Leicestershire, and listeners are ‘treated’ (that’s debatable) to a new podcast episode every 2 weeks which covers lots of timely discussion around markets and stocks with a strong emphasis on education and with regular guest appearances.

The recordings are totally unscripted and this can lead to all sorts of unintended tangents. However, it can mean they are rather light hearted and have a large contingent of avid listeners.

Wheelie himself is paraplegic after a motorcycle accident 23 years ago and he has been very aware of the good work Back Up does after attending a Skiing session with them fairly soon after leaving Stoke Mandeville hospital. He very much understands the importance of building confidence and helping on the mental health aspects of such a life changing condition as a spinal injury, having experienced it all the hard way. The work Back Up does with children is
something he is particularly inspired by.

Back Up was a real ‘no brainer’ for our Charity of the Year for 2022 after we helped the excellent Menphys charity in 2021, which helps children in the Leicester area. The podcasts and everything else we put out to listeners and readers are ‘Free to Air’ and if anyone would like to contribute to our chosen charity, then that would be a nice way of saying “Thank you” and a lot of people who are facing a difficult challenge in their lives could benefit. Any amount will help so if you want to join in, then just give what you can.
