We campaign, support and fund research to stop people dying of bowel cancer

Story

My lovely dad is currently receiving treatment for Bowel Cancer. He has just finished his chemo and radiotherapy and is awaiting surgery.

My dad is fighting his battle with dignity and humour....he is an inspiration.

My challenge is inspired by my and my dad’s love of rugby. He supports England and I support Wales. We had a bet on the result of this year’s 6 Nations, which I lost. This means that I have to take him to Twickenham to watch England play Wales in next year’s tournament.

My plan is to run from Twickenham to the Millennium Stadium, leaving the day after the England/Wales game and arriving in time for the next match. I will run the distance over 7 days, Sunday to Saturday inclusively, averaging nearly 40kms a day.

I'm hoping to raise as much money as possible, but also to raise awareness of this horrible disease.

Any donation no matter how small is greatly appreciated. Also please spread the word.

Thank you lovely people.

Much love

Lizzie
