Pakistan is facing one of the worst natural disasters in its history. Monsoon rains, causing widespread flooding, have affected an estimated 20 million people. Over 1/5 of  Pakistan is currently under water, the equivalent land mass to all of Italy. Human misery is on an unprecedented scale and millions of people are in need of help. As in any disaster, it is children who are the most vulnerable. Tuesday's Child will be travelling to the Punjab area to help children affected by the flooding. We will be supplying clean water, food, baby milk, electrolyte replacement for acute diarrhoea and vaccines against water-borne diseases.
