Truro Student's March 400 Challenge

Claire Williams is raising money for Good Grief Trust

March 400 challenge · 7 February 2021

Our vision is to bring all the bereavement charities & organisations together to ensure that no-one slips through the net & everyone receives the correct information and support that they need to move forward with their lives.

Story

The Good Grief Trust aims to raise awareness of issues around bereavement and try to change the way we deal with this taboo subject in the UK, ensure acknowledgement of the potentially severe effects of grief and encourage us all to talk it about it more openly.

A small group of students, from Truro College, voted to raise money for the Good Grief Trust in order to support the increased numbers of those that are grieving due to Covid-19. The challenge is for 22 students (and their tutor) to cover the distance of the Cornish coastline (400 miles) by walking, cycling or running during the month of March (18 miles each).

Due to Covid-19 lockdown restrictions this challenge cannot be completed as a group. Students will decide how they are going to complete the challenge and carry it out individually, with someone from their home bubble or with a friend.

Please sponsor us and support a fantastic charity in their work to help those that are grieving.
