My wife Charlotte is brilliant. She is an amazing Mom. She also has Post Natal Depression. She had been secretly battling it for quite some time, but it all got too much and she said she needed help. 

Some of you will know that our first daughter, Jessica, died shortly after being born in 2011. Amelia, who is simply ace, was born in 2012 and Stanley, who is the happiest boy I've seen was born in September 2014. Charlotte went to her GP a few months after Stanley was born and this is when she started getting help. 

She was put in touch with Cedar House Support Group, who provide help and support to women who are experiencing postnatal depression. It is run by a counsellor and a mother who has suffered with PND in the past. The group helped Charlotte as it was somewhere she could go and talk about things, with others who were going through the same thing, normalising everything and just showing that she wasn't on her own. They were her first step to getting the help she, and the rest of the family needed. 

Cedar House Support Group covers Surrey and South West London, but there are charities like this up and down the country, helping people like Charlotte. 1 in 5 women experience PND, which is treatable and hopefully, Charlotte is on her way there. She has done fantastic so far, and we'd just like to give a little back, with your help!
