Story
2016 is an exciting and special year for Royal Trinity Hospice as we celebrate 125 years of care, and work towards opening a new centre north of the river.
A group of the community team have therefore decided to get moving and challenge themselves to the completing the three peaks challenge.
This is a 24 hour challenge which starts at the foot of Ben Nevis. After climbing this first peak, we travel by minibus to Scarfell Pike, hopefully having slept for a few hours, ready to go again. Although shorter in distance this peak is steeper and craggier with the first part done in the early part of the day with head torches. The final peak is Snowdon in North Wales where there is luckily more of a path. Apart from one experienced climber we are all amateurs but very excited about the experience.
Because of the 125 campaign, we wanted to have a big target to aim for and are planning lots of ways of raising this. Every small donation helps and spurs us on with your support!
Donating through JustGiving is a very easy and safe way of doing so. If you would prefer to make a donation by an alternative method then please feel free to contact the team directly on 0207 787 1062.
Finally , do keep up to date with our progress. We will aim to update the page with recent photos and progress!
And THANKYOU again for your support.
