Thanks for taking the time to visit our Triathlon JustGiving page!

In July of this year the four of us (Nicola, Elise, Fiona & Amy) will each be doing a Triathlon, either in Liverpool on the 1st or in Cheshire on the 22nd to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society, Riverside's corporate charity.

We've been training hard to complete each of our distances (both olympic & sprint!) and in total between the four of us we will:

Swim over 3.5km in docks or lakes!  Then... Cycle 100km and finally if that wasn't enough our legs will have to carry us over 25km of running!!

We've spent the last few months getting to grips with wearing wetsuits & padded cycling shorts, swimming with jelly fish and having jelly legs!!  And now the time is nearly here to see if we've got what it takes...

We signed up to do this not just because Riverside has decided to support the Alzheimer's Society as it's corporate charity, but because it's a fantastic cause close to everyone.  We have all been touched by Alzheimer's in some way, experiencing someone close to us change over time as the disease takes over.  The Alzheimer's society provides fantastic support in lots of different ways not only for sufferers, but also those close to them.  You can find out more at www.alzheimers.ork.uk.

We're sure, like us, you'll see it's a fantastic cause.  We've set ourself the target of raising £1000 so we hope you'll support us in doing this - all donations count, however big or small we really appreciate it!  And if we go over our target we might even share photo's of us looking like exhausted seals in our wetsuits after the race!!!
