Story
I have turned 40 this year and must be entering a mid-life crisis as Ive
started playing hockey (never played before) and I've volunteered to join a team
who will be climbing Mount Snowdon. Of course that would be too easy so the goal
is to climb Mount Snowdon pulling a person in a wheelchair! and if up wasnt enough, the team have to get them back down too!
In January I slipped a disc in my back which was immobilising for several days and painful for a few months but this injury pales into insignificance compared to the people the Charity we are supporting helps. The Back Up Trust help transform lives after spinal cord injury, you can follow their work here http://www.backuptrust.org.uk/home
If you know me you will know I don't do camping, I dont do climbing,
and I don't do heights but I will be doing all that I can on 5th July as part of
a team to overcome some if not all of these to raise money for this great
charity.
Please support me by donating to my page, any amount, even a £1 will help us
raise money, (and if youre a tax payer select the gift aid option and they get an
extra 25% ) The company I work for, IPC, will also match the amount I raise :-)
