Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Having had a heart attack in January 2016 I was given loads of great care to get me back on my feet again.  In February I completed the NICHS 10k Red Dress run. I joked on my Just Giving page at the time that I might think about doing a half marathon at some time never believing that I actually could......well that's exactly what I'm now planning to do! I have a long way to go though to get prepared for that distance. I run a couple of times a week with my dog, Oscar, but now my Son, Jack, is hinting that he too wants to join us on our runs.

I'm heading over to Edinburgh in a couple of weekends' time to do the 5k Gung-ho run with my daughter, Erin. The Gung-ho run incorporates getting over/through large inflatables so it sounds like great fun. All part of my stamina training of course!

I would be delighted if you would sponsor me for the Ards half marathon. Your donations will make a great difference to the health of others.
