Story

As most of you reading this will know my lovely Maurice received an Alzheimer’s diagnosis a couple of years ago and in May 2024 the decision was made for him to go into a care home permanently. Life really hasn’t been the same since, not just for Maurice but for me, his children, his grandchildren and his friends. Alzheimer’s affects so many people. I’m doing this for Maurice, but not for him alone, but for everyone affected by this awful illness.

Anything you can donate, no matter how small, will be very much appreciated and go towards the amazing work Alzheimer’s Society do.

Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.

Thank you for choosing to trek for Alzheimer's Society, together we can be help and hope to everyone affected by dementia.
