After losing my mother to a rare form of early onset Dementia in 2019 at the tender age of 58, the Alzheimer's Society and related charities have become very close to my heart. 

The resources and guidance they provided were invaluable during a very difficult time in my life, without their help I don't know how I'd have coped with feeling so isolated and alone. Just knowing that some support was available really kept me going.

Only recently have I had the strength to talk about it openly, so I am very excited to raise some funds and awareness for this great charity in memory of my mother, Shirley Knight.
