Story

As many of you know Alasdair's dad, Donald,  is suffering from Alzheimers and Vascular Dementia.  Luckily we are still able to have a laugh with him at times but it is a truly wicked disease that impacts everything he does, everything his wife, Ginny, does and has a marked effect on the rest of the family.   The pain of walking 26 miles in a day is nothing compared to what we are going through at times.  We need more research into every aspect of this bloody horrible disease.

Please help me double my target, every little donation will make a difference.

Thank you so much in advance

Jane

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
