I am running the Great North Run in memory of my Mam.  Mam sadly lost her fight with Pancreatic cancer in July of this year making the completion of this run all the more important to me. 

I am raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK.  They are a national charity striving for a good, long life for those diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer.  Through research, a support service and campaigning they aim to improve the statistics around this often forgotten and little known cancer.

Donations help them to fund research aimed at earlier diagnosis and improved treatment options.  Donations also help them provide a support service to patients and their family members who are affected by pancreatic cancer.

By helping me to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK you are helping raise the profile of Pancreatic Cancer.  You are helping to make more people aware of this type of Cancer and supporting the research that is so important to those who suffer from this awful illness.  Early diagnosis is crucial to survival and your donation is 1 step closer to that.
