Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am 26yrs old and a mother of two. I love my family and my children are my absolute world. I do all that I can to raise them well, with love and to protect them; but sadly there are many things in life that we cannot always protect our loved ones from, one of these being cancer. For the millions of people who have bravely battled cancer, those who have sadly lost their lives and for those who are, or will be, diagnosed by this cruel condition, my heart goes out to each and every one. I hope that my contribution can make a difference, and I hope that you will be kind enough to join me in my journey, and together we will make cancer a thing of the past.

In 2013, my eight year old PIP breast implants leaked illegal silicone into my body causing me a great deal of pain, shortening of breath and loss of circulation. My breasts changed incredibly, twisting up, burning and becoming painful to the touch, showing several alarming signs of breast cancer. I underwent the horrific ordeal of having my implants removed, my natural breast tissue scraped away and my chest fully reconstructed and thankfully now I am back to health. It has shown me how fragile and precious life is, and that we must all be thankful and aware of the life that we have and the health risks we face.
