Hello Friends - So I've upped the personal challenge this time and on 11th September 2016 shall be participating in the Great North Run!  A half marathon no less - 13.1miles. - no fun runs this time my lovelies  - just sheer terror and pain. Oh yes people shit just got real!!!

Once again, I'm doing it all in the name of my chosen charity EACH who as you all know provide such invaluable support both practically and emotionally to all the children and their families who are fighting everyday to survive one more day, week or month. They provide such a compassionate and understanding service to all of us parents of children who have a life limiting condition. The help that they give is not limited to during our children's short lives but also after they have passed. When Lucas' sweet friend Little Angela Frost passed away just aged 15 years young in December last year the support and practical help they gave to her devastated family was second to none. I know that her parents Angie and Des and her sister Jasmine were truly, truly grateful for everything they did following her sudden passing. From having her moved to the hospice so that the family could spend some time with her to say goodbye, to helping them with the funeral arrangements and just being there for all of them for anything they needed and they are still continuing to support them all. For this reason and obviously (as always) for Lucas I am attempting a half marathon.
