March 2016 I lost my wonderful wife . Karina Marie Davies . she was not just my wife she was loved for been so much more by so many others, sister, auntie, friend .

Last year we trekked up Ben Nevis to put some of Karinas ashes on the summit. not all of our 7 strong team got to the summit, me been one of those who were beaten by the climb. I stupidly thought it would be a simple walk and did no training for it whatsoever, all the gear no idea Ha Ha.   this year I want to do this again to put a sunflower on the spot where her ashes are. I am hopefully a lot fitter and determined 

Karina is so sadly missed by all who knew her and knew her vibrant , happy outlook on life, we have spread her ashes in many places , Snowdon, Gretna Green, planted a tree with her ashes in a Jack Daniels bottle(one of many favorite drinks), off the pier at Saltburn by the sea but Ben Nevis is special place, Karina loved all beautiful places but Scotland held awe in its landscape for her. as it does for us for that reason. so what better way to   not only  get to the summit but to raise money for this wonderful hospital.
