STOP PRESS!
Yesterday was a great day - Matt, Jane, Rob and me went in the sea as planned. It was bloody freezing and I fell in. The bumps and bruises were worth it only for the money raised! This was definitely a once in a life experience, but thank you to everyone who sponsored me and braved the cold to come down to the sea on the day. Thanks to Elisha, Jo and Lisa, Rob and Lucy, Richard, Pam, Jenna and the rest of my family for showing up to take lots of photos.
I'm keeping this page open a while in case anyone gets the urge to donate having seen the evidence on Facebook, online and in a lecture theatre near you...
Cheers

Hi Guys, thanks for taking the time to read this!
As you may know on Dec 26th 2009 I will be 40 years old (AGGHHHHH).
As a kid, I used to watch the lunatics taking part in the Boxing Day dip each year and vowed to do it myself when I reached 40 (I never thought I would make it that far).
The time has come to fulfill my childhood dream (!) and get wet on Boxing Day for charity.
So here's the plan -
Boxing Day, Llandudno, North Shore
11am stand in front of water.
11.01 enter sea dressed as a fairy (tutu and wand made by Barbie) along with Matt (costume to be decided when he gets home from uni and finds I mean it).
11.02 exit water, enter nearest bar.
Anyone who knows me will realise that I HATE the cold. I also hate tutus. This is a one time only event.
If you would like to give a donation this year instead of a card, please give something small - the NAS do amazing things for people with autism.
See you on Boxing Day!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Cheers
