Story
Working with the Women's Football Academy at Northumbria University I wanted to continue the work we did last year supporting the Byker Pantry.
We decided to attempt to do 5,000 Kick Ups in the hope of raising £5,000 for the Charity. The players excelled themselves and actually completed 5,287 Kick Ups. Each player filmed themselves then posted their efforts on the WhatsApp page I created so I could confirm the amount.
We would love it if you'd like to sponsor us to help us make a difference to the people in Byker. Every little bit you can give will make a difference so please don't worry about the amount you are able to give. We would just love you to join is in supporting this fantastic Charity (see their details below)
The Byker Pantry is more than a food project it is a place of community and support. Over the last 4 years we have seen many people supported and cared for. We have been able to help people back into work, help them avoid eviction, get out of debt, and so much more. This Christmas we were able to provide a free photo shoot for families that couldn't easily afford a professional family portrait. Over 30 families will receive a professional framed family portrait, beautifully wrapped as a gift from The Pantry and Life Vineyard Church. The Byker Pantry is so much more than food... it is a family and a project seeking to lead Byker Wall into life.
