Every three minutes someone in the UK develops dementia. That's the equivalent of around 225,000 people every year. This disease impacts all members of the family as the person has lost memories and is unable to manage everyday life. I have personally known loved ones who have suffered and now passed, and there is one very special person in my life currently enduring this awful disease. I want to raise money to help other families going through this, so the society can help other people.
