When my mum passed away in March this year I decided I needed to do something to remember her by and raise some well needed funds for the Isle of Man Hospice who treated her with such respect and dignity in her final weeks. 

So when I saw the notice for the 2015 Tough Mann challenge, 10 kilometres, 25 obstacles and 1,000ft elevation I knew I'd found the right event.  I just needed two people big enough to carry me when I get tired!  Up stepped Tom Davies and Joe Shuttleworth to complete our team.

Any and all donations towards this great charity will be gratefully received, even if secretly you just like the idea of three fools up to their necks in mud!
