Toth Construction is ALL IN for Summer Search!
Klaus and I have been involved for more than 10 years now and continue to be impressed by what this organization does. We are the first generation of immigrant parents who benefitted greatly from strong families ties and mentorship. These same connections can be life changing for the students we serve. This is what Summer Search does.
The 550 young people we partner with have limitless potential but must also navigate systemic barriers in order to reach it. 93% of participants are first-generation college students, 97% identify as people of color, and all qualify for free or reduced lunch. All of them have strengths, potential, and dreams for their future. Through long-term mentoring, summer experiences, and tailored support to succeed in their chosen careers, Summer Search gives students tools to unlock their potential and become thriving adults with rewarding careers, financial wellbeing, and a sense of purpose.
And IT WORKS! Summer Searchers are 3x more likely to graduate from college than their peers and report average incomes 2-3x that of their families. We all want to help even out the inequities in this world, so recently refreshed for us - this is a place for positive, durable change.
Many of you are already past contributors. THANK YOU! You literally helped us survive 2020. Now we plan to do more. We are campaigning to raise $500,000 during the month of April. Toth Construction's personal goal is $30,000. We are excited to be able to invite you to events in the month ahead to better demonstrate why we think this program is so great. We hope to inspire you to make a donation!
Help us unlock a $200,000 Matching Challenge! Thanks to generous Matching Challenge contributors, all donations of $500+ will be DOUBLED and donations of $2,500+ will be TRIPLED!
Thank you so very much for your past and - hopefully - present support. It is greatly appreciated.
