Dear All, 

On 5^th September TIS Trekkers will be taking part in a 27 mile trek through the Peak District.  We are doing this in an attempt to raise funds for a wonderful charity called PASIC.  It would be very much appreciated if you wouldn’t mind donating to their cause.  It doesn’t have to be a huge amount, as you will see below, even small amounts help a sick child and their parents to have some light relief from the uncertainty of living with cancer.  

PASIC offer children and parents support at an extremely difficult time in their lives and TIS are proud to be raising money for them so that they may continue their fantastic work to help those that currently need it, and those that unfortunately, will need their help in the future.  

Small amounts can make a big difference………

£7.50 will buy a Christmas Present for a child or young person at PASIC’s annual Christmas Party.

£20.00 will pay for a day out at a theme park for a child or young person.

£100.00 will help towards a family’s travel costs to hospital for treatments.

£1,000 will pay for 55 children to enjoy a day out at a Theme Park.

£2,500 will help PASIC organise their Annual Christmas party for all of their Service Users to enjoy.

We would love to hit as many of these targets as we can.

We have completed two training walks so far which included some tough climbs.  We have at least two more to do before the big day.  We are making a real effort to raise some money for these children and parents.
