Story
Last November, Claire Trévien raised money for Refuge by writing 100 poems in a day.
Inspired by this, and in light of the closures of many vital centres that provided care for victims of domestic violence, I am joining Claire in taking up the challenge again on August 15.
I will be at Worldcon, the World Science Fiction Convention, and will write science fictional poems on ephemera found around the con - programme pages, flyers, paper scraps, what have you - throughout the day. To make it remotely feasible to do this while attending a convention, I'm setting my target as 50 poems, and each poem will have a limit of 5 lines.
I am very open to prompts/title suggestions - please leave a note with your pledge, tweet me @toritruslow, or come and find me at Worldcon if you're around!
