Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and a special thank you to everyone who has donated already.
I marched this year because my nephew Matt has been having radiotherapy for a brain tumor but also in memory of Veronica who was an inspirational member of our Rotary club and Richard Sigee who was an outstanding founder members of Libby's club.
I was originally registered for the 5 mile walk but Sue and I got two late cancellations and did the full 14 miles with Daniel.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
I was also reminded on Saturday that it was researchers at the Marsden who developed the sophisticated radiotherapy technique which was used to treat my cancer at Guildford and has returned me to the fitness that allowed me to complete the march.
So please dig deep and donate now.
