Initially, when we chose to take part in the Ultra Challenge, it was simply a father and son day out.  People asked if we were doing this for charity.  That is when we decided to do the challenge to raise money for ME Research UK, as we have a friend who suffers from this misunderstood condition.  We hope that one day that she will be able to recover from this condition, and be able to do a challenge with us.  Any money raised will aid research into Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (CFS).
