I am running this marathon for The National Autistic Society.  As many of you will know, Laura’s sister Katie is non-verbal autistic and struggles with day to day life.

 

She is a lovely lady and has recently moved into supported living (aged 29) with a team of carers.  It is through the work of charities like NAS that Katie’s condition can be better understood and work can be done to make her life and those close to her more comfortable. I thought the article written about Laura and Katie (click on link to view) may help explain what living with Autism is like.  Please dig deep and I will do my very best on the day and shall keep you all posted on training etc..
