In October I am set to run the Chicago Marathon. This will be my first Marathon in that city following past experiences in London, New York ...and Harlow. As you have seen, I am hoping to use the event to raise funds for two worthy causes, Action Aid and The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

I have supported The Royal Marsden Hospital across a number of years, and marathons, and have seen what a special place it is through the experiences of several close friends and family members. Not only is it a centre of excellence in patient care but it  also pushes the frontiers of cancer research.  

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
