Story

Sue Ryder Nurses and healthcare teams are always there for local people who are dying. They are providing incredible emotional support as well as specialist medical care to people who are finding themselves in unimaginably difficult circumstances. We are all facing something we have never faced before which is why Sue Ryder has launched an appeal to make sure that they are still here. I am asking you to give whatever you can afford at this difficult time. Every pound you give could make the difference to whether they can be there or not. It is that simple.

In these unprecedented times where charities are unable to fund raise to support those who need it

I felt compelled to do something to help others so on my birthday I’d though I’d celebrate by riding 100 mile but not through the beautiful countryside where I live but in my garage

I know it will be hard but in this time of social isolating I may as well help others so I’m celebrating my  birthday in my garage on my bike helping others

In this time of unprecedented times where we all face an uncertain future, there are many who need our help, some who rely on donations and volunteers to help maintain a good quality of life such as people in Manorlands Hospice for example. Many have had fund raising activities cancelled and contributions have dropped, so we need to help in some way

In 6 weeks’ time on May 16th its my 58th birthday so I’m going
to celebrate it by cycling a 100 mile, but remaining 2m apart and following Government regulations, and I’m not going to go around our beautiful countryside but I’m  going to sit in my garage and pedal for 8-9 hours on some turbo rollers.

If you would like to help me raise the quality of care and quality of life for those in the hospice  then please spare a few pennies, every pound will help improve the quality of life of individuals who are at risk.

every  year I have done something to raise funds and awareness for this superb charity and I feel that now its needed more than ever. So please help and see if you can donate you unused bus fare, unused pub money or just try and make a difference to someone

I’m dreading this as its going to hurt and I’m going to be a bit bored, but if I can put myself through a bit of pain then I’m sure you can spare a few pounds

Thank
you in advance

Tony

It's my birthday in 6 weeks and to celebrate it I'm going to help others by riding 100mile on my bike, but not round the lovely country lanes where I live but in my garage!!!

So help me celebrate by helping others

Stay safe stay inside but help others by donating even a small amount

Thank you
