Story
On 9 October 2011, I will attempt to run/waddle the Royal Parks Half Marathon in aid of the Joshua Hayday Helping Hand Trust. The JHHHT was set up in February 2010 by a friend and his wife in loving memory of their son. The JHHHT helps support families with children with life-limiting conditions and aims to assist projects that will provide real practical support to families, such as respite care, assistance with transport needs and equipment. More information on the JHHHT and Joshua's story can be found at http://demo.joshuahaydaytrust.org/welcome.cfm.
It is a great honour to run on behalf of the JHHHT and thank you very much for the donation. I will do my best to waddle round in a semi-respectable time (no bold predictions).
As you will undoubtedly know, donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the JHHHT and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
