Story
My mum went into premature labour when she was 23 weeks into the pregnancy; the maternity and neonatal nurses at Stepping Hill Hospital (and Hope Hospital) were amazing. On the day they decided to deliver me, one of the neonatal nurses came in from a rare day off when she was supposed to be doing her Christmas shopping to try and help deliver me safely. All of the staff, from the midwives to the Ambulance service, couldn't have been more supportive and professional.
The odds of my survival were very low yet they still managed to save my life with no complications. I would like to be able to give something back to try and help with any equipment they need so that they can do the same for future babies in a similar position.
I don't think that running 200K in a month will be easy for me but I'd like to try my best!
Please donate any amount you can, every penny counts, and I will appreciate anything you can give.
Another thing I wanted to just mention briefly was that there are lots of donations coming through anonymously; I would love to be able to thank you personally so if you feel OK doing so, please add your name under 'Your message.'
Thanks in advance and thanks also for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page,
Tom.
