On the 13th September 2012, I am joining around a dozen cyclists from my village in Buckinghamshire to cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats in an effort to raise £100,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

 

The total distance is c.1,100 miles (including a not insignificant detour via our village!), and the journey will take 10 days to complete. I am cycling the first 5 days and will cover c.500 miles before leaving the rest of the team in the Midlands (for those who feel I am getting off lightly, I have been assured I will be spending a healthy amount of time as a wind break at the front of the group for my 5 days!).

 

Macmillan are a fantastic organisation and I am privileged to have the opportunity to raise money to help them do more of what they do so well.
