Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
For whatever strange reason I have opted to take part in this years Charity Boxing fight at The Hilton. Whilst this is a bit of a bucket list item for myself this is also an incredible event doing some remarkable fund raising for a Manchester based charity.
I will be raising money for the Central Manchester University Hospitals and as a group we are looking to raise enough money to buy a new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for the Hospital.
Neonatal Units specialise in the care of babies born early, with low weight or who have a medical condition that requires specialised treatment. As I'm sure you can appreciate this is an essential bit of kit for a hospital and anything we can do to help them will go a long way.
Here is a link to the event page, containing all the info about the night and below that is a video of last years event (I was there last year as a spectator, see if you can spot me):

As fun as the bloody noses, 6am training and vomit inducing exercises have been, the months of training going into this event behind the scenes have been a real challenge. As a fighter entering this event I can honestly say that we have really been put through our paces. It has not only tested our physical ability to get pummelled and keep going but has pushed our mental resolve to the limits. To carry on going when everything in our bodies screams quit!
The good news! This event will be recorded and I will be more than happy to share a video of me getting beaten up with anyone that donates. Any small donation will be hugely appreciated!
Thanks again,
Tom
