I have been planning on running a Marathon for some time. Having done a few half marathons over the years I thought it was time to take take the next step.

As I have never run this far before I thought I would raise some money for charity. I chose the Child Poverty Action Group because I find it really upsetting that so many children in the UK live in poverty right now. If I can complete a personal challenge and help make difference then it's all the worthwhile.
