Story
Hi,
Firstly, Thanks for visiting my London Marathon Page.
As many of you I'm sure know the RNLI is not funded by the government in any way yet saves many lives at sea through the work that they carry out each year and being on hand to help those in need 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The service they provide is free and the crew on-board the lifeboats are all volunteers who ensure the safety of those in the water.
I am a keen runner and ran 4 Half Marathons in 2015 as well as a 10k in November. However the full London Marathon is my next big challenge.
My fitness and stamina is getting pushed to the maximum through training regimes I am doing and plan to do and the Marathon itself on the 24th April 2016. But I WILL complete the Marathon and get a good time :)
I shall be regularly updating this page and my Facebook with 1/2 Marathons and other training that I have been doing, So feel free to follow me :)
By running the London Marathon this year I want to show my support for RNLI and the work that they do.
If you can donate, Please do! 100% of the money donated on here will be going to RNLI and the excellent work they do. And lets hope they can continue to save lives well into the future.
Thank You,
Tom
