Story

It goes without saying, supporting local charities is so important and particularly now as so many fundraising events have been cancelled due to Covid-19. I am therefore thrilled to be raising money on behalf of St Barnabas and I am very grateful for your help in doing this.

On a personal note, signing up to the Virtual Run has given me a real boost as I now have a purpose to my training and an end goal to aim at. Having had a number of local fun runs and races cancelled it is great to have something to focus on and motivate me to get out running again.

For anyone thinking of having a go I would definitely recommend it as I feel reinvigorated. You can walk, run or cycle and you choose the date, you choose the time and you choose the location plus you are raising money for a great local charity.

Many thanks again to everyone who has donated – wish me luck!
