23/06/2011 - **BREAKING NEWS**

And now the team is complete!  The third intrepid trekker joining us on the gruelling 25 miles of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks will be Ben Fitch.

I know I set the target at £500, but the three of us are hoping that with all your help we might even be able to get to £1000!!  We are doing this for some people very important to us and really are grateful for even the odd couple of pounds here and there if that's what you can afford.

I am now pleased to announce the addition to the 3 Peaks team of someone from true peak-bagging blood!!  Annie Jilbert will now be joining in this quest on 9th July!!!

Hi there.  For those of you who know me and my slightly insane 'mission' of climbing all the peaks in England over 2,000ft, this is where it all began!  It was at the Yorkshire 3 Peaks in 2010 that I got the bug and developed the challenge.  These are probably the only ones I will be repeating during the challenge however as it's a great event and a good cause to raise money for (and I didn't get my peak top pictures here last time!).  Last year it took me 10 hours and 40 minutes to complete the 25 mile route!

We are really grateful for anything you can afford to donate.  Wish us luck!!!  We are doing this walk for a number of people close to us who could have benefited from every penny put towards cancer care and research.
