Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have never undertaken such a dawnting challenge, on Saturday the 12th April 2014 at 6.30am I will be getting ready to cycle from the Big Ben in London to the Colliseum in Rome in 2 weeks with a group of fellow "desk bound" recruitment consultants. The over 1,300 mile ride is by far the most challenging event I have ever signed up to do, we will be looking to cover upwards of 100 miles per day through difficult weather conditions, dangerous French roads and mountainous hills!
I am doing this challenge in aid of a very worthy charity. Jambo Charitable Foundation was set up to give deprived villages in Africa a fighting chance of future sustainsability. We take a very "hands on" approach, personally visiting these villages and getting stuck in with the building of Schools. I have seen the positive effect this has from my experience in 2012 in a remote village outside of Accra where we built a creche. The money you donate will be going towards giving children that have nothing an education, an education that will help them lead healthier lives. Please donate as much as you see fit and know that every penny raised will be going to a worthy charity, of which, I have personally seen, the difference it makes.
