Toby Green
Toby Green one of our volunteers will be starting the mammoth task of cycling the length of Britain this weekend to raise funds to enable SWT to satellite track our osprey chicks on their journey to Africa. Toby will be undertaking this task completely unsupported, taking two weeks out of his very busy life. Toby has his own business called Woodend Carpentry which produces timber frame structures and bespoke hand crafted furniture. He will be camping along the way which means he has to have four full panniers only allowing him to travel at the very slow speed of 12 mph, if he gets a tail wind he might get up to 14 mph. The first leg of his gruelling journey through Cornwall and Devon involves more than 100,000 ft of assent. An amazing task in its self. My hat comes off to him and we here at Loch of the Lowes are very proud of our Toby. You could not ask for a more dedicated volunteer.
So come on guys help Toby on his way.
