Story
Hello everyone!
From the 20th September I am going to visit this amazing charity in Nepal. During my six week trip - which is entirely self-funded - I will provide some free consultancy, monitoring and evaluation on behalf of its UK office. Also I am fundraising directly for the benefit of the children that I meet and as I find out their needs as I go along. My shopping list at the moment:
£200 to allow me to take with me books and educational materials for the kids at the charity's refuge in Kathmandu. DONE!
£200 to allow all 20 children to have a new set of clothes as is the custom at the hightlight of the Hindu calendar, the Dashain festival which falls next month. DONE!
£100 to allow the children at the refuge to have a special Dashain picnic. WORK IN PROGRESS
£100 to buy sports equipment for the children. WORK IN PROGRESS
I'm looking forward to updating you after I get there and sending through lots of pictures but in the meantime please visit www.chorachori.org.uk for more information on the charity. And like their Facebook page: www.facebook.com/ChoraChoriUK
