Story

I was chosen to be my years "Make Believer". Make believers run different events to raise funds for their chosen charities as well as get involved in community events. Due to Covid-19 I have chosen to do a readathon as it allows me to interact with  you all in the safety and comfort of home. Our chosen charity is Toilet Twinning (www.toilettwinning.org) a charity that builds flushing. toilets in countries that are unable to provide this necessity to its residents. The charity require £60 to fund a project that will build a toilet and to have access to clean water.

Contributing to a cause like this one will help raise awareness amongst the make believers of how important sanitation is for our personal hygiene and quality of life and how fortunate we are that we take clean water and toilets for granted in the UK. At the end of this project (30 November) I as a make believer will be asked to present to my class on my readathon, the money I will have raised and the cause it is going towards so that many more children can have awareness of the work Toilet Twinning do.

I have chosen to do a readathon and aim to read Roald Dahls 180 page Charlie and The Chocolate Factory over the course of the next 2 weeks and will be posting regular videos of my progress.

PLEASE HELP ME REACH MY TARGET BY DONATING TO THIS GOOD CAUSE.

THANK YOU
