Once again I have been talked into another crazy trek to raise money to support the Epping Breast Unit!  This time, we will be completing the 3 Peaks Challenge in 24 hours, climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales - Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.

I've funded the trip myself and hope to raise at least £500 for the Unit through donations. 

The donations I raise will be used to purchase new equipment to treat breast cancer, in particular (subject to successful trial), it will be used to purchase equipment to be used for a radio therapy technique during surgery called TARGeted Introperative radio therapy (Targit). The use of this technique will replace the current need for a patient to attend one or two one hour planning sessions and 25-30 visits to hospital with 25 minutes of radiotherapy in the operating theatre.

Any amount that you can spare to support this very worthwhile cause will be very gratefully received. Thank you very much for for your support.
